Lloyd loom returns

The newly covered Lloyd loom linen basket, thank you Mum!!! She very kindly worked her wonders on it and turned it into a pretty little piece.

This is my purchase of the week. I found this linen basket down the back streets in a tired little shop, one where you know you will discover a gem and also pick up a bargain. The man in the shop saw me admiring the basket and said "open it up, there is a treat in there for you love".

He was quite right too!! As excited as I am by my buy this one is not a keeper, I am going to recover and sell on. The floral fabric is fine but I have some perfect material to give this Lloyd loom a lift!
